Thanks to my friend Gabriele, http://gbiondo.zaadz.com/ , I got tagged!

The rules:

1. Link to the person's blog who tagged you.
2. Post these rules on your blog.
3. List 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself.
4. Tag 7 random people at the end of your post and include links to their blog.
5. Let each person know they have been tagged by posting a comment on their blog.

7 random and/or weird facts about myself:

1. Born female, yet  I was a real tomboy as a kid, growing up in the Netherlands.

2. All that playing soccer, black and blue shins, building huts and stealing sugarbeets while getting shot at by an angry farmer, contributed to the fact that I have balls. My son Max (6) noticed this very fact: "Mom you got balls too, yours are just higher up".

3. Being a woman is something I started to really embrace once I experienced my first pregnancy (I've been fortunate to have more, since). Now I truly enjoy being a woman, every part of it!

4. Even PMS is something I love now, since Power May Serve, particularly when one is a

Babe
In
Total
Control of
Herself.

Controlling anything else turns out an illusion, unworthy of my attention.

5. So what about my kids? Are they unruly? And what would that say about me? For starters, the boys get to learn through consequence, with humor and lots of patience. Of course patience runs out at a certain point, as my kids are expert button pushers. Sometimes I wish I could sweep all three of them under the rug, and walk away. Clean up the mess another day.

My quintessential mom, Beata, is instrumental in giving me breaks. Since having my third child, I have not acted out my fantasy to run away and join the circus. Cirque du Soleil, of course. I would sing and dance, on a trapese swing. Joe, royal pain and father of our three rapscallions, is instrumental in showing unconditional, loving support. He's a hands-on dad. No, Cirque du Soleil is not for him. They don't have horses!

So, I am still here. I can choose to let the button pushing work for, or against me. Funny thing is, once I allow it to work for me, it does. For all concerned it just works. It's not always possible (or wise!) to play nice, or fix things, and yet it is always possible to resolve things. Even if we don't have all the answers. Let's take a good look at who installed those buttons anyway. ME??? Come on now!!! Yup. On with it. Sitting with it. Listening. Inside and out. Intelligence is love shining through unconditionally. And so it does. I am not alone here, even if I spend a day without back-up with my kids. . We are together, and are fortunate to work through our stuff together. Growing. Connecting. Finding Divine Order in the midst of chaos.

6. I learned that every child, including my inner child, just needs acknowledgment. Not judgment. My kids get it. They actually can acknowledge me. "Mom, you are working hard" or "Mom, you are doing nothing" are words I enjoy very much occasionally.

7. One final, very weird fact must be shared. The aura of my home is shining extra brightly since its vibration is supported through salts (each grain a crystal) charged with innumerable symbols of unconditional love. Earth lines and water veins (the meridian network of the Earth) that run accross our living environment are carriers of all sources of energy, including radiation and pollution. The salts tirelessly transform this energy into the supportive vessels they are meant to be. Same is true for my body.

Hello there.  Just wanted to say wow there's a mountain of insight in this - “Let's take a good look at who installed those buttons anyway. ME???”  Letting them work for you - I like that - plus in order to discern when they're working for you you'd have to be in the flow and the moment, be present.
Of course by you here I now mean me…  :)
Blessings, David

We did this on Tribe. I thought we had done it here but could not find the blog. On Tribe, it was harsher, you had to have ten. So I will give those ten here.

My Random Weird Facts, Habit or Goals are…

1. I used to have people give me words and I would make up songs to them.
2. As a teen I was an aspiring actor, I won Best Actor for Newport County CYO two years running and tied both years in the states
3. I have always had a connection to the spirit world. As a boy I would spend a good portion of my time in the woods where I was free to talk to them without everyone thinking I was a nutcase. Okay, so they thought I was odd anyway.
4. Early on, people recognized a deep spirituality in me and pushed me to becoming a priest. I made it as far as the Chancellory offices. Though I did serve two years as a Youth Minister working at a youth center in RI.
5. I have always been a great cook, learning from my grandfather. I won the Rotarian Award for Outstanding Food Service Student. I prefer cooking for small get togethers rather than in restaurants.
6. I am absent-minded. My mind is going all the time and things have to be in specific places for me to remember. My wife rearranged our bedroom and I was in a panic for a few days.
7. I am a devourer of knowledge, sometimes having two to three books going at the same time. Drives my wife nuts, as I have one book in one room, another in the other and will be reading one and then walk into the other room and pick that one up and start reading. I have a Tsalagi friend who offered to teach me a few things. She started to offer some book suggestions. I had read every one of them, so I sent her the list of what I had read thus far. She thanked me for the list so that she could get some of the books. (Especially the ones from Vine Deloria, a great writer.)
8. Twins have played in my life, in my dreams, thoughts, and visions. I am not a twin, or rather, not that I have ever been told. Yet, I have had a recurring theme in my life with twins. For the longest time, I kept seeing a twin star medallion in my dreams. During a meditation in a Rune class, I journeyed to the Great Oak . A woman came out of the oak and walked up to me. She smiled and held her hands out to my chest. Twin orbs of light came out of my chest and into her hands. As the light faded, there in her hands was the twin star medallion. She looked up at me and told me that it was within me, it was always within me. Remember.
9. I have always wanted to own a small farm with a couple of cows, some chickens, and horses. I want it situated so that it abuts a forest that is a preserve or state forest so I can go to the woods often.
10.I used to have a “birth mark” on my left thigh, one blue and one red dot. About five years ago, I was scratching at it in the middle of the night and caused the red one to bleed and it disappeared leaving only the blue one. Bled quite a lot, my pajamas were soaked.

Sheesh, I feel so naked and public now.

White Wolf,

Thanks so much for what you are sharing of yourself. I'm honored to find your post on my blog. The piece on Twins particularly hit home with me. My third baby is a twin. His sister, with Divine guidance, decided to leave her physical existence around 12 weeks into the pregnancy. During a meditative walk in the woods I noticed that after some back and forth, and with Divine Guidance a being in my womb decided to leave. With every fiber of my being, I felt embraced by this being, in unconditional love. Not knowing at the time I was carrying twins, I just thought that would be the end of my pregancy. I was completely at peace with it.

She did stay on however in her Light form and was the communicator for her brother as my pregancy continued. The two of them had a ball keeping me in the dark about the fact I was having another boy. Kiki (I still named her), or what was left of her embrio plus a miniature placenta was born two weeks after her brother's birth. It made perfect sense to me. Hours after the birth I kept asking my midwife: “Did you check the placenta? Is it complete? It feels as though there is something left inside.” Barbara, the midwife assured me the placenta was complete. I still felt what I felt and decided to trust that whatever it was, it would be revealed eventually.  She is still very much a part of our family.  Kiki is very connected to Source and from my primal lineage. I am grateful to perceive her presence and be guided by it.

It is very common that in pregnancy twins are conceived and one does not materialize completely. There is a book about it, but only in German so far. The lady in your meditation may well be your twin.

In gratitude,
Nell ;-)

Interesting perspective, but no, she is not my twin. I know who she is. Yet, I leave her unnamed out of respect.
I have thought about asking my mother if there were any oddities with my birth, but she would probably say me. I have a feeling that my twin is not of this world but walks in parrellel on the other side of the veil. If the impression I have is correct, then we alternate positions lifetime to lifetime. Interesting if true.

So in essence, you do have a twin, just not the lady in your meditation. Correct? Feel free to leave my inquiry unanswered. Thank you for sharing your experience in this way, and enriching others like myself in the process.
